    opinions?

I picked up some a8 flat fives, not realizing they won't clear my hp2 calipers. I don't want to mess with spacers and extended lugs, not to mention the price of the damn things. Stance doesn't mean that much to me to spend another few hundred on spacers.
However, I really dig the prestige of oem+. Is it worth it to keep the wheels? Maybe trade them for some that will clear my brakes, or other performance parts? I'm currently on hartmann dtm gs wheels (need refinished) but could use improvement in other areas (tint, exhaust,MAINTENANCE- car is in good shape, could use some vc gaskets though) What would YOU recommend? I love the look of the flat fives but didn't realize the hassle....

Did a quick Google search, a few B5 S4s came up running them. Didn't see anyone mention clearance issues though.

From what I've gathered most people are running 5mm+ spacers. Not really a huge thing, just not much of a fan of spacers. I guess it's not much of an "issue" per se, I'm just looking for community opinions on whether the prestige of running oem wheels is worth the hassle of spacers or if id be better off keeping the wheels I have now and maybe trading them for an exhaust or selling them. Damn things are timeless though...

If you like them run spacers, if you don't want to run spacers that bad then don't run them; it's pretty simple. What do you want to do?

Fat fives are heavy as shit, I'm all for weight anyway...

Yes, ik know it's simplicity. Simply asking opinions.
    I love the wheels
    I dislike spacers
I DO wipe my own ass (most of the time)

    Who wants these wheels

Yes, They look good, but i also am not a fan of:
    1. Spacers
    2. Heavy ass wheels

OEM wheels have zero prestige in my book. If they don't give me more contract patch or improve acceleration, breaking and handling...the looks aren't worth it. Lightweight wheels are where it's at.

Agreed, however I have more than enough power for what I need and I don't track my car or anything so lightweight wheels aren't a necessity.

Thanks for you guys' input, a friend of mine is hooking me up with spacers and lugs so I'll be rocking the fives. They're free so fuq it
