Question 3 wire connection for ipod adaptor help

hi everyone, so sorry if this was already answered, but i look all over for this answer and i couldn't find anything.

anyway, i just bought a Audiovox AUNI-150-PRO to install with my factory Audi Symphony on my B5 S4, i understand basic stuff about wiring but i've never done it in a german car, anyway, the wires are:

    switched 12v (yellow)
    Ground (black)
    constant 12v (red)

I've read about the 75x terminal and that seems to be a good option for the constant 12v, I also found the output wiring in the factory harness for the stereo and there is a switched 12v there, and i think this might be the way to do it if I tap into this 2 sources, can anyone PLEASE let me know if I'm on the right track or the actual right way to do it??

    Many Thanks!!

75x is switched and constant is behind the radio and switched is also behind the radio. Why did you get FM modulator when direct is the same price?

Thanks for the answer Christian@enfig, i got the modulator for $20, i couldn't resist the price, I'm going to upgrade to something a bit nicer like a mediabridge or something like that in the future, but right now i'm focusing on getting my car to stage 3, so the $20 beat the $130-$160 for a nicer direct integration unit

Last time I sold mediabridge it did amazing things that were impossible to figure out so everyone used it like a $70 adapter and never used its features.

It was designed to sell not to be user friendly.
