key less entry not working all the time

Hi guys,

i know it may be just me, but i believe i have heard it from others as well. the key doesnt always work to unlock the door when i approach it.
i brought it up to the service rep for the 5K service , he said hed change the battery and couldnt duplicate it.....
i mean i had myc c6 a6 and for the 5 years of ownership never had an issue...

anyone ?

Generally the first sign of a dying battery is the symptom you describe. That said, plenty of other options.

You said the dealer DID change the battery?

I assume it is happening still after the battery change? When does it happen? Cold outside, car has ice on it, wet?

I have trouble with it when it's rather cold out (below 20 F). Im hoping the issue goes away with warmer weather, but you are not alone unfortunately with this.

I have the same problem and it's consistent with what you said

Mostly wet and cold NE. Wet for sure. Pretty annoying !
