Anyone running a VF TVS1900?

They don't use the M90 anymore, that's why I specifically asked if anyone is running a TVS 1900 kit.. I'm just curious to know if anyone has ever gotten it to work correctly. With a proper HX and different tuning that might not be a bad blower choice for our cars. I know all about JHM and have seen their videos countless times, no need to tell me any more about them. Nothing against JHM, I love their kit and all the wonderful things they do for our platform, but like I said I'm curious to know if anyone has gotten a TVS1900 kit to work.

There was a thread a little while ago about where a member had a TVS1900 and it broke either his engine and/or SC. I will see if I can find the thread.

A lot of the newer posters don't know the history behind VF and PES along with a few of the other companies for this B6/7 S4 platform. The older members come off hard because those companies deserve it with the shit that they pulled. Do some searching and educate yourself.

I am an older owner, I'm also on the "other" forum and have lurked there for years, and I appreciate the quick and accurate feedback as always from you, 65vette, squiddy, justincredible, saki Etc. That said I'm well aware of VF's and PES' history, but now that VF is using a better blower I'd like to see someone that bought one and made it work. Kind of like VWRCR's m90 story..

I don't even care what the thread is about to be honest, just notice when new members ask questions or not even older members, we seemed to be jumped on for not googling it, this forum is pretty slow and I'd figured if us new guys want to start a conversation that would be a good thing. My comment was directed at bigoltater since he joined this year. I know that you have been around for a while.

That thread that 65vetteC6 is the only example other than ngng that I can think of with the newer VF blower. It would be interesting to see if anybody has made it work but until I do, I am not going to hold my breath. The ECU tuning has never been very good with VF so the owner would need to be smart enough to have somebody else tune it after ironing out any hardware issues.

I believe AMD is putting the same blower on another S4 and making their own version of it or something. I remember it getting posted somewhere on FB I think. Don't know if anything developed though.

After seeing AMD's attempt to tune the 1900 on the RS4s, it would be really funny for them to go after the S4s.

That would be interesting to see, but as far as I know AMD doesn't have a very good reputation either.
