Normally to install tint shops remove the interior door panels, unhook the door pull/cable, spray a ton of water on the glass, etc. So if your windows are tinted and a door handle, lock, speaker, window regulator, etc. breaks Audi likes to blame it on the tint shop. That is unless you had it tinted through the dealer.
If Audi thinks you've disassembled or messed with anything on the car, they will be hesitant to warranty it.

problem is, the dealer does not know if it was installed by a skilled tint shop or your 15 year old cousin. its def a common practice to take the panel off and can most def b a cause though rare. i agree it is a ridiculous claim by the dealer, but because it has a percentage of it happening, albeit small, they can deny.
if you want to hear ridiculous, a dealer once denied my friends cousin for warranty claim and blamed it on plastidip !
GL op, i hope it works out for you.
