2011 Audi S4 w DSG and no active rear diff

So far I've had the following issues between 18,000 to 24,000 miles and in the period of less than 12months

    1. Mechatronics failure (gearbox malfunction, toms error and no reverse gear): replaced circuitboard using the mechatronics kit Audi now sells
    2. Aircon failure (G295 sensor replaced with updated version)
    3. Thermostat failture (AD model replaced with AL model)
    4. Wheel bearing failure (Front drivers side replaced)

Anything else that could happen...? i have no active rear diff, so that can't leak at least...

Those are all pretty much the normal issues we see on a B8 model car

It seems that most of the owners of 2010/11 cars have higher mileage than you and have already been thru these issues..The A/C seems to be a touch rarer (at least I don't recall many posts on it), but I guess the only one I did not notice is the water pump..Have you owned the car since new, and I guess the next question would be around service history,etc..As frustrating as it is, most of the posts seem to indicate that once the DSG, thermostat and wheel bearing issues are dealt with, its rare they re-occur..Hopefully not all of it is on your dime..S

mine was a feb 2011 build so fuel rail recall didn't apply and thankfully being a 2011 build it has the metal cased water pump.

glad to hear there isn't any other really known issues... hopefully there is no more... please no more...
