hey guys. im posting for a friend who has a 2.8 that had the serpentine belt brake or pop off and he had to replace it. i have the 1.8t and i know we have 2 different belts, im not sure how the v is set up. anyways, he tells me he replaced the belt and it popped off and got chewed up again so he needs to replace it again. he says the tentioner for the belt is fine. what could have caused it to pop off again?
