    You can't stiffen dampers and not expect more NVH. That's why I removed my trans mount insert. A TCU firmware update fixed my TCU issues, and the stock trans mount in the C7.5 is firm enough, especially when manual shifting.

    Were you noticing a slight howl as well? its totally fine if this is something that is to be expected, i just wanted to make sure this was the case and wasnt an install error on my side. still evaluating keeping it in or going back to stock - may need to at least once to determine how much of a idfference the cabin noise is.

    No, I don't recall a howl. I always listen to music when driving, so I may not have noticed it. My car was also fairly new, when I fitted the trans mount. Perhaps the howl is coming from something that develops after more mileage or not so incline on the new TCU in the facelift model.
