So is this correct part? New one should just snap back in, correct?

Yeah GAP and ECS are about the same price. It's not a big nuisance. Just annoying. Gotta make sure that's the right trim part #

Still gotta look at the damn rear tail light and see if its the one I already replaced and also need to fix the glove box hinge lolol

The part is locked into the body by the snap-in tabs. With used parts, the tabs can break if you don't remove it carefully enough from a part-out car.

Is that your car? Looks like the widow-maker slipped off.

I hope it only damaged the plastic. It'll be much easier to find a replacement skirt in UPL. I've driven without that cover strip for a while before. I'd just remove it so the rear door at least closes (unless you can press it back in right), and drive without it in the meantime.

definitely looks like it was either jacked up the wrong way, or a windowmaker or jack slipped and hit that area.

Yeah that's what I was thinking. So weird. I don't really remember it before but who knows.

The door still closes, this trim broke back in January but the car was in and out of the shop and in the shop then and in the shop the whole month of Feb so I just got it back last Friday.
