For those looking for the other Grocery Hook

ECS sells the grocery hook for the other side for $30.93. It was one of the first things my Wife wanted me to do when she got her A3, since she was used to having two when she drove my S4. These aren't side specific and they will work with the A3 and S3. This kit is different from other models though, such as my B8.5 S4, so be aware of that if you're ordering them from somewhere else.

    Part Numbers:

    Grocery Hook -
    MFG#: 6Y5867615CQTC
    ECS#: 2597682

    Clamp -
    MFG#: 4G5867633
    ECS#: 2181500

    Screw -
    MFG#: N10656902
    ECS#: 468733

** You'll need 2 of the Clamps and Screws if you're ordering from anywhere else. **

    Installation Tips

I would recommend putting the screws through the hook and into the clamps before putting it into the car. You can get the clamps lined up and then pop the whole piece into the holes in the trunk. It is a very bad design because if you put the clamps up in the trunk and then try to screw the hook into it there aren't any stops for the clamps and they will get lost up in the trunk area.

Super awesome! I'll be ordering a set soon.

I still can't believe Audi does not install two of these. Instead, they want to charge us something over $125. It's absurd!

do we need each of the parts ordered separately or does ecs sell them in one ordered kit?
(because you listed each part # separately)

Not if you're ordering from ECS they sell the kit all together. That's why I listed in asterisks that you need the screws and clamps if ordering from anywhere else.

Sorry, should have said that's why it's listed in asterisks not I.

    This shouldn't be this difficult...

I ordered the parts listed above, but I'm struggling with the nut portion. Although I can get them in place - I can't figure out how to get them locked down. The screws just continue to spin, and never really tighten. Can someone either describe or take a photo of what direction these nuts should be installed. There are two different shape and different size tabs, and it seems like those might need to be below the lip...but nothing is working.

Again, it should not be this hard.
