Wife's 2014 Q7 went to Limp mode with plethora of fault codes

My wife's Q7 went into limp mode with Christmas Tree of fault codes and had it towed to Audi. They are still trying to figure out what is wrong with it. They ordered fuel filter from California and installed it. I am now waiting to hear update.

Anyone else experience anything like this and if so what was the cause?

my 2011 TDI died on me while driving last week and i had it towed to the dealer. after 3 days of sifting through the fault codes they said the ECM was dead and needed to be replaced under the 80k miles/8 year emissions control warranty. mine just died completely rather than safe mode though. i was given a much smaller q5 loaner and told it would be at least 2 weeks before i get my car back. good luck.
