Thought I had it.. Been having boost issues. Sometimes I see 16psi and tapered to 14. Under WOT I've been seeing a tops of 14 and drops to 12 and 11. Pressure checked last night, was a loose clamp on passengers side lower intercooler hose. Tighten up woohoo, that had to be it.

On my way to work this am I pass a guy, same thing, about 12 psi. Where do I look now? DV's? Logs?

Sorry for the lame explanation but I'm at work and don't have much time until after.

    I'd start at the DVs.
    Then logs. Maybe manifold leak?

    Could be bad check valves.

No codes via vagcom. I need to take logs and further look in to the n75 and diverter valves, too cold outside at the moment and snow covered roads aren't exactly the best way to log lol.

Another observation is that when I am WOT, checking boost gauge it will flutter 13-14 psi. I let off the throttle to slow down, or shift, and the engine surges? I guess i would call it a boost spike? I don't see it on the gauge but the car gets a "kick in the rearend". It isn't a boost leak, in fact it's the exact opposite.

Diverter valves are fine. Which I suspected. (they are fairly new 710n) Held vacuum and diaphragms move freely. Pulled the N75 valve out to check further.

N75 Seems to be fine. Ohm reading checked again and it was 28.6 this time. No "blow by". I did do a vacuum check for a few of the lines, found a slow leak so I replaced 3 of the old braided lines (last 3 left) Boost seems to be more consistent. 2nd and 3rd gear I would see 15, taper to 13, 4th i see 15 and taper to around 14. Still not where it should be.

Do tunes "loose" their settings or once it is tuned, and nothing else changes, it should stay the same?
