Initially I suspect the power steering pump to be bad when every time I turn it made a loud whine noise every time I turn the steering wheel. Just later that day I looked at the fluids and there is fluid all over the engine bay that shot out of the reservoir cap. I replaced the power steering pump with a brand new aftermarket unit (as well as a used oem unit) and the noise is still there and the power steering feels like it doesn't really work. What is unusual is the fluid is shooting back into the reservoir and shoots out of the cap again and there is a huge puddle on the floor. What can cause this?
