    Symphony 2 to RNS-e

I'm sure this is covered everywhere but I just can't find anything helpful. I have a stock 08 b7 a4 symphony without the tape deck so I think that's a symphony 2 but not sure and its without Bose (I think) so here's the story...

I just purchased a RNS-E unit only and I'm wondering what I need to get it work. IE harness and pin swaps, also is there a way to get a harness so I can install an aux cable.

    thanks for all the help.

thanks it was a piece of cake.

iv been reading that some people with b7 don't need to do the pin swap, is that true?
also do I need to get an adapter harness or can. I just swap the pins in the factory harness?

When I did the swap from symphonyII to RNS-E Plus, all I did was buy the complete harness for plug and play with the satellite receiver and removal keys.
    Nice $45 dollar investment.
Plug and play with none bose system.
Just a litte coding with vagcom and you are good to go.

A side note, I had the symphonyII with the tape deck.
