    (What Seerlah said). IF you leave a dog or something and lock the car it will set of the alarm unless you use that button.

    Need to press that button before you arm lock the car up if you plan on leaving the windows open slightly since the wind will set off the factory alarm.

    also if you leave the window open it stops the boogie monster from coming in

    It's obviously the microwave oven button. It is supposed to provide even cooking, but I always find the center of my hot pockets are still frozen. And if I push it twice, they come out boiling, lava hot. This feature was rushed into production and really needed more work, in my opinion.

    Jokes aside. I never really cared to press it, inside paying for gas. Friends are in the car, damn thing kept saying "help two chlorine infested people are in me!"
    Man I miss my AR....

    I will buy another someday... Or any audi with a 2.7...
