Going to be installing my ported manifold w/spacers soon and was curious if there'd be any noticeable gains if I heat wrapped my downpipe and added the jhm oil cooler with a cold air intake since the pass. Side radiator will be removed allowing for cooler temps

Lowering temps with wraps/coolers won't give you any gains, but can helps prevent losing HP from heat soak (like the spacers). As for the CAI, I still haven't seen numbers that justify running one, even with passenger radiator removed.

I wrapped my downpipes to address bay and cabin temperatures, both the of which I've read and experienced trouble with on this platform. Not to mention i had the material at hand from an earlier project, and it was fun :).

I thought CAI on our 4.2's are pointless. Didn't someone do research to find the OEM box is even better than a CAI after the air box mod? But +1 to wrapping, when I do the piggy mod I want to wrap them just to help the heat! Now for the weather to warm up so I can be motivated!

Yea stock box was proven to be better than aftermarket, jhm came out with the oil cooler afterwards wich supposedly gets rid of the hot air on that side allowing for a cai
