So I bought a set of VMR 708s off of craigslist for $650 with tires. The catch is they had been repaired in the past and the repair job looked a little bit shaky. The guy was really nice and assured me that it held air and after filling them at his place. No leaks detected. So I bit the bullet and bought them. While I was putting them on I noticed one of the tires was a 225/35/19 while the others were 225/40/19. I bought a new tire for $200 that was that. Fast forward a few days and I come out to my car with a flat. Surprise surprise, one with a repair. I air it up and drive in to the office. When I get there, a different tire, the other repaired wheel, is flat. I air it up and I can hear the air leaking out. I find the leak and voila, the tire is not sealing properly right where the repair is.

So, my options are: Put my old wheels and tires back on and sell them for as close to what I bought them for as possible or I could have them repaired by a reputable shop "Wheels America" for $140 per wheel.
If I go ahead with the repairs I'm sitting at $650 for the wheels, $200 for the new tires and $280 for the repair. Bringing the total for my "new" wheels to $1130......
I've had a really f*cked up day and I'm ready to sell the whole damned car after all of this. Any help/advice would be appreciated.
