MA state highway potholes causing damage?

On my way to work this morning cruising south on 128 between exit 19 and 20 some one cut me off going 50 in the passing lane. Was slowing down to alow distance between me.and the driver infront of me (because im used to this road and know of the incoming 30+ pot holes and need to see them to avoid them.) When of course i hit one of.the biggest ones and instantly heard hissing. Pulled off the exit that was coming up and pulled into a gas station.

Ruined my tire. And dented/ dinged up my 3 month old rims.



Anyone have luck fileing a claim against the state?

Is your car modified in any way?

It has a turbo back exhaust. (i. Bought My car with the stock one snapped) and it has aftermarket rims. ( i bought it with 19s, now put on these 18s, 19s were too big for me)

Stock suspension. (Besides new meyle hd controll arms)

You won't get anywhere.

I just bent another rim and put a bubble in tire few days ago.

I know its horrible going to school every day, knowing what lanes I need to be in and when makes it easier. If towns are responsible for there pot holes why are the state not resposble for the highways?

State hwys-No. City of Boston- maybe if you take pics, and file a claim. Had to replace two tires on my gti this past March, bubbles on both and dented rims--all just before trading in. This winter sucked! Was hoping not to put a cent into my 2013 gti before the trade, as VW covered all maint. For first 3 years, but it cost me $500 for two matching p zero neros.

I know exactly where you are talking about, I grew up off exit 18 on 128. that section is awful!

I hit a pot hole on 93 near the HOV lane last summer. Shredded my tire and then I hit a curb and tore my rim up over the winter...
