Congratulations ! Finally done after many months of R&D.

    IMO;

In the S5 (your original CF diffuser design), where the car body shape is curvaceous, the vertical lines added much needed aggressive lines.

But in the S6, the car is already square-ish to begin with (being a sedan), vertical lines make the car looks even narrower and taller (From the first 2 pictures).

I think the original horizontal Alu-optic strip makes the car feel wider and has a better optical stance overall.

No doubt the CF material is awesome ... but I think carrying over the S5 diffuser design to the S6 just doesn't work for me ...

    Just my 2 cents :)

ROFL.........The whole reason this diffuser project was started in the first place was an outcry from the C7 owners about how lame the stock unit looked.

I think it looks spectacular and adds a much needed aggressive tone the rear. Stock piece looks much too tame for the S6. In fact the S-line A series rear diffuser looks better than the stock S6 unit.

Great job. I was skeptical that this would ever materialize, but I will be ordering one !!

Hahaha ... I really wanted this to be great ! ... but the first 2 pictures above really doesn't do it for me.

Maybe need to see other pictures ... coz the model car is screaming to be lowered !! hahaha ...

Funny you say that because I didn't get in on this primarily because I don't like the way it looks on the B8. I actually think it looks a lot more proportional on the C7.

Something about the B8 version just looks more proportional...
The dimensions of the diffuser is based on the factory unit from Audi. If you compare the OEM S6 valence to the S4 valence, you will see that the OEM S4 version is bigger vertically.

Our R&D crew look at the all the possibilities when designing a new product. Realistically, you can't just extend the middle part lower without it looking out of place since the two sides will sit higher. Currently, the bottom of the diffuser is a smooth continuation of the car's underside. If you extend the diffuser lower than the rest of the car's underside, the aerodynamics will be disrupted. Also, you got to keep in mind of the bolts on the underside of the diffuser that needs to match up at the factory bolt points.

Got mine on Tuesday, and put it on within an hour. It is simply beautiful. I have never before fit an aftermarket piece such as this and had it line up with the OEM fitment so perfectly. The piece was flawless and simple to install, and looks amazing with the car. For a black S6 with the BO package, this is a necessity, the original grey spoiler detracting from the complete blackout look that Audi should have been going for. It's certainly worth the wait. Thanks to Chudiddy and Eurogear for making it happen. A couple of iPhone shots, looks ever better after a wash, I will try to get some SLR pics on the next clean and sunny day.

Wow, that looks awesome. Well worth the wait wasn't it? Its nice to see it on 2 different color cars. Perhaps you can help out with a thorough review and install write up. I am working on one but perhaps it would be better coming from you since it looks like you were able to install the diffuser without removing the entire bumper. Well done on the install. Let's see some real pictures. I can't wait for the front piece.

I think it looks great on black, absolutely worth the wait.

LOL actually, it might not , I am hesitant to disclose how I installed it so quickly without taking off the bumper, I probably got lucky not breaking something, (Eurogear recommends taking the bumper completely off to make sure you don't snap off any tabs)

You absolutely do not need to remove the rear bumper. Some proper trim tools do help however. I removed my stock valance for plasti-dipping and put it back without an issue. Just don't be too aggressive with anything.

Well shit, now I think I need to attempt this myself. Mine has been sitting in the garage waiting until I can take it in to be put on. I've been a bit worried about install since I do NOT want to remove the whole bumper myself. I have trim tools and I'm running low on patience!! Think I'll try this tomorrow!!

    Mik34, any luck?

Like you, I've had my diffuser in storage until I could get it scheduled for install...assuming rear bumper removal was mandatory.

Ian gave me some tips so I might try it again. I did try it before but felt like I was going to break something getting the OEM diffuser off.
