Dripped undiluted Leather Masters cleaner on seats, left stains. How to fix?

I was cleaning the rear seats in my B7 RS4, which as I understand it is is protected leather (some people claim Nappa leather is semi-aniline, but it repels water, so I don't think that's true). I was using the Leather Masters Car cleaner which comes in a foam dispenser, and foamed the cleaner directly onto the seat. It probably sat there for 20 seconds while I went to pick up my horsehair brush, and then I proceeded to lightly agitate the cleaner.

When I wiped off the cleaner, I pulled off what I assume was dirt (hopefully not dye), and there were spots left behind where the cleaner had been sitting. See the pic:

I've since done another cleaning pass, but this time foaming onto the brush rather than the seat. I again pulled off what appeared to be dirt on the cloth when wiping, but the spots remained.

How should I remove the spots? Is the seat just really dirty, and I should keep cleaning until the spots fade away?

Becareful it might be dye. Those leather cleaners are very strong if u rub too hard you gonna ruin your seats.

Hmm, I was under the impression Leather Masters was the preferred system. Is there a milder cleaner that is recommended?

Hmm, maybe I'll give Leatherique a shot. If that doesn't work, I'll take it to a pro.

I don't know exactly why that happened, but I guess if that spot got cleaner or had the cleaner sit on it for longer than the other portions then that could happen and discolor. I would definitely try another leather cleaning product, Swissvax is very good, and if that doesn't work for you, take it to a pro.

Great, I'll try a few other products out, and then have a pro take a look if I can't fix it. The leather on the rear seats is definitely a bit odd - if I press with my finger, it has tons of micro-wrinkles form around the indentation, and seems to keep indentations around for longer than it should. I think the previous own did nothing to maintain the leather, so it probably just needs a lot more love.

Leather Masters is a great product. I've always been happy with it, and never known it to cause any discoloration. Have you applied the Leather Vital over it? That might even the color out.

Regarding the stretching thing, it's the same with my S4's silk nappa leather. But it goes back to normal when it warms up. But I never lean on my seats with my finger tips or knuckles to avoid that temporary stretching.

And my understanding is that the RS4's use the same silk nappa leather as the rest of the B6 and B7 S4's. It's not some exotic type or finish.

I've always liked it too, which is why I was so surprised when this happened. It might simply be that my seats are really dirty, and if I simply keep cleaning I'll keep pulling dirt until the spots fade away, but I'm worried I'm pulling dye and not dirt (very hard to tell).

Good to know regarding the stretching, thanks for the tip. The RS4 leather is the same as the S4 I believe, so also good to know it's standard nappa.
