Wheel shaking, pedal vibrating, shift knob shaking

As stated above my wheel, gas pedal, and shift knob all shake when I'm going above 60 mph. Not sure if one of my wheels is out of balance or what. The scary part is I just had a misfire about a week ago. I started my car and the CEL was blinking and the whole car was shaking (as if I was about to stall). After backing her out of the garage, the CEL went away and the car ran fine (boost pressure fine,no other misfires or hiccups). I disconnected and reconnected the battery, and the CEL hasn't came back on since. Just looking for some insight if anyone ahs had this problem, or suggestions. I'm scared something bad is going on . Thanks in advance and I appreciate the help

If the issue is purely speed related at 60+ mph it's pretty typical sign of wheel issues and I'd be inclined to check for balancing/bent rims first. I've had a bent rim and it clearly shook through the whole car - wheel, pedals, seat, etc. after hitting 60+ speeds. If RPM related, then I'd look to issues with the misfire. I recently had a misfire CEL P0303, replaced my coilpack on cylinder 3 and CEL cleared. No issues since. I ordered a new set of sparks/coilpacks as a result.

Again, this seems to be a pretty typical case of bent/unbalanced wheels. Are you experiencing any loss of power or hear any shuddering when the steering wheel is shaking?

Yes, at 60 mph or greater, it's likely wheel-related (your misfiring was unrelated), especially if it's cleared. At idle, does it vibe more than usual?

As TheNiloJunior said, check your wheels for bends, even on the inner side. To help determine which is which, you can rotate your wheels through (or throw the spare on, which should be in your rotation anyway). Rebalancing is simpler if you know which wheel it is.

I am actually fighting this myself right now--one of my wheels has been rebent (thanks to MD roads). I have new wheels to get on, as soon as I get some time and I won't freeze myself (and are, hopefully, a bit tougher than the current ones).

If you're in upstate NY with this weather and you're lucky, you may just have a buildup of snow or ice on your wheels. It will throw things way out of balance.

Alright guys thanks. That's what I was suspecting (and hoping for!!). I'm taking my car down to the a local tire and wheel place to check it out. Not experiencing any loss of power so this problem should be solved after my checkup. Thanks again and yeah the roads around here are horrid... worst part is they keep getting worse. There are maybe 3 roads that I drive on the way to school that aren't heaving and cracking like crazy. PITA. Was planning on getting alzor wheels for summer, might re think due to the road situation... you pay for what you get and they might take a beating.

Trip up to Buffalo for the Sabres game tomorrow night. Thankfully they could squeeze me in before they closed

It's winter time, if you have snow stuck in your wheels it will throw off the balance. Just an easy check, if not snow then it's out of balance likes others said.

And if you have 1 or more bad motor/trans mounts the wheel vibration could get transferred as well.
