Which to purchase: 2015 A6 TDI (new), or wait for 2016??

Seeking the collective input from this group, and thank you in advance.

I have an opportunity to pick up a new 2015 A6 TDI (Prestige) with all of the packages I like plus AudiCare at a 10% discount (so in essence OTD at sticker price given tax here in CA). I'm weighing that against ordering a comparably or slightly less equipped 2016 A6 TDI, also new. With the 2016 I wouldn't be expecting much of a discount if any at all, so comparably equipped would be about $7k more than the 2015 and slightly less equipped would be about the same OTD price.

So, in your opinion is it worth waiting, or would the 10% discount be enough for you to move forward with the 2015?

Many thanks for your thoughts and suggestions.

In my humble opinion and given your options, I think the '15 TDI would be the better choice. I don't think think the facelift of the '16 nor the upgraded MMI would justify the premium you'd pay.

If you join the Audi club you can get 6% off the 2016 and with Audi incentives you can probably get another $1500 off on top of that for either loyalty or as a new customer. As a result, you can get pretty close to 10% off on the 2016 as well. Personally I would go with the 2016.

Thanks for the info on Audi Club. Is it really *that* simple: register online for 1 year, pay the $49, and voila 6% discount on new purchase?

It really is that easy. I purchased my 2015 factory order that way.
