RS6 steering wheel true plug and play?

Here I go again with another question on this topic...

For a TTRS or RS6 full perforated leather steering wheel with a round airbag, flat bottom, but without the post-facelift "*" or "i" buttons, is this truly plug and play on a 2012 S4, or would I need a new airbag wiring harness? On the Europrice site, I interpret it as requiring the plug-n-play harness for it to work, but on ebay (Parts_For_Audi_and_VW), it indicates the wheel all by itself is plug and play. Can anyone confirm if a revised (different?) harness is needed if I was to purchase the ebay wheel?

    Thanks!

it depends on what year the bag is from, you need a dual stage bag to be plug and play

Thanks, I'll look to see if it's dual stage.

By the way, Alex at Europrice has always been very helpful, I'll probably just go that route & be sure I get the correct wheel/airbag.
