    BMW showed some of their new OLED technology earlier this year on a M4. The OP is correct, these are illegal in the US until approved by the DOT. From what i've read, that isn't happening anytime soon.

    Interesting. But I would prefer Audi spend the money getting DOT approval for a US-spec RS4 Avant rather than this.

    This is actually pretty old. I recall seeing this in 2013 as a concept. Right now, we don't even have the current, shipping A8 LED/laser lights approved by DOT. No way we're having that OLED matrix approved anytime soon.
