    Cheap and power don't go together when dealing with any 2.8 12/30V motor.

    The PES G2 is an option, not cheap though, and a bad tune will result in melted pistons. These days, a 4.2 V8 swap makes more financial sense, if you do your own wrenching. More reliable than a blown 2.8 V6, and if boosted later down the line...
