Detailer Recommendation for Northern Suburbs of Chicago

I have a 2014 RS7. Thinking ahead for Spring, I'm looking for some recommendations for an excellent detailer that will take good care of the car, uses top notch products and people have experience with. Many of the posts on this forum are older.

I don't mind traveling 20 or so miles from my house and waiting, but obviously the closer the better.

I do most of the hand washing/weekly detailing myself when I can, but when it comes to waxing, paint restoration and interior shampooing, I'm not that comfortable doing it myself.

Like the OP, I'm flexible to drive and leave the car for days if needed.

Looking for paint correction and hopefully some leather treatment that may clean and restore the matte appearance.

If they can also wrap trim, bonus!

I know it is not in the Chicago land area, but it is definitely worth the trip to Madison, WI. He does concours quality work, and has detailed several cars that have sold for $1,000,000 plus on auction.

Lustr, mentioned above in the initial discussion, s still one of the more highly regarded detail shops in the Chicago area. I believe they are in Elk Grove Village.

Thanks Bob - they look great as well and probably a little more appropriate for my needs compared to CH - not to mention much closer.

Thanks for the reply. I've used them in the past for regular washes and found them to be meh - not better or worse than We Wash on Halsted.

I'll check out this product line - maybe they have some specialists who do the complete details there at Simon's.
