Rear bump stops. My car had the clunk when I picked it up 3 weeks ago. If you take a look at your rear shocks it will be obvious if they are loose.

I brought the car in when I noticed they were loose, took the tech a few minutes to put them back in place, car is silent now.

Good info. Thanks. when the tech put them back in place did he just wedge them up into the sleeve? or did he use some type of adhesive or anything? I'm asking because i have a lift and if it's a quick fix i could do myself i'll save myself the hassle...

    Thanks.

No clue. I tried to do it myself and they are definitely press fit tight, I gave up and let them do it.

It seems the shipping blocks come installed over the bumpstops, so when the tech PDI's the car they have to reinstall the stops after they take the shipping blocks out. Whoever did my PDI obviously forgot to, and I'm guessing thats what happened to yours too...

you were right. i pulled the rear wheels tonight and the rear bump stops weren't fixed to the top of the shocks at all.

    Wedged them in....no more clunk.

No lie though....they were a BITCH to get back in.
