Hello. Needed new tyres but I couldn't resist a wheel/tyre package I saw online. Bad time of year to put wheels on but hey ho..

Wheels are Fox MS007 19x8.5 ET32 with 235/35/19 Good Year F1's. I'm happy with the fronts but let me know what you think of the rears. Tempted to put a small spacer in there. I was ET35 before with a 10mm spacer (final ET 25) but I did rub in certain circumstances, very rarely though. Lowered on H&R springs.
Disks are EBC grooved and dimpled and Yellow Stuff pads all round.

And the problem is what exactly ? I don't see why you would want them to poke out. You could go to a 245, maybe a 255 in the rear but that set up looks about where it should be.
You are planning on using the car ? Driving the S4 ?
Leave the static poke theme to all those who just want to park and stare.
The rest of us would prefer to drive the S4's thru the twisties knowing that wheel / tire and suspension is optimal for that pursuit.

    Thanks for your feedback..

Problem? No problem here, just wondering whether to put a small spacer on the rear.
There won't be poke, just slightly nearer to flush. If I wanted poke I would have bought 10"s ET10.
235 is perfect, I won't be putting on bigger tyres, why would I do that?
"knowing wheel/tyre/suspension is optimal".. a small 5mm or whatever spacer is going to make fuck all difference driving through twisties!

Agreed with everything above, there's no stretch and poke, he's running 235 on an 8.5 ET 32. I think it looks fine, 3mm spacer in the rear maybe if you are really wanting it a little more flush but I think it looks fine. And running a staggered steup with 255's in the rear is going to affect your experience "through the twisties" more than running a squared setup with a 3mm rear spacer IMO. Wheels are very V710'ish.

Problem meaning, what do you see that still needs tweaking ? I was being sarcastic and think your setup is where it should be. I will add I'm totally against spacers, it's not that difficult to find the correct wheel size and offset. 32-35 is where we want to be on a 8.5 or 9.00 inch width.
The tire profile increase to 245 would be my solution to having it all a bit more flush instead of any spacer.
I run 245-40 but on 18"x 8" oem for my S4. Your choice is very similar to what I was going to go with ( Nurburgring ) but in a Bronze finish from TSW and 18x8.5
I was toying with the idea of 18x9.00 the only potential issue is that the TSW Nurb is only offered in a 114 x 5 which would require wobble bolts and that I'm not sure about.

MacFady thanks for your input. I love those 710's and that's the look I was after. Unfortunately it's hard to source VMR 710's in the UK without spending a fortune.

It is quite difficult to get the exact ET I'm after. I really only wanted this style of wheel, it was the nearest I could get to the 710 but unfortunately these Fox MS007's only come in ET32. The perfect offset I need I think (and this why I posted up here knowing that a lot of the guys on here use spacers) would be ET 27. I may well leave it as is but it could be slightly nearer to flush WITHOUT rubbing or sacrificing any performance.

@ASC: Those wheels look a lot like a set of VMR wheels (that probably are the 710s) that a local to me guy has. He is lowered on H&R springs too but he has a cab instead of a wagon. We put 5 mm spacers on the back and it looks great. I think that you would be perfect with 5 mm spacers in the rear too. From my experience these cars ideally should be between ET 30-25 for wheel offset with 8.5-9 inch wide wheels.

The rotors look good. I don't have experience with EBC rotors but I am running EBC yellow pads on my car. They work great but be prepared to clean your wheels a lot.

@moyenecorniche: If you want a flush setup then run 265/35/18 tires on 18x9 ET 25 wheels. That is my summer setup.

All I have to say after seeing this thread is, "Wow, the Germans actually put the battery on left for right-hand-drive S4s to offset the driver."

Need to get yourself a new coolant reservoir to freshen up that engine bay. Plus a new one won't develop cracks anytime soon.

I used to fine tune handling with 5mm spacers, personally. That was on a lighter and more nimble car, but you'd be surprised what just a few small corrections on one end of the car can have. Spacers play with the basic way in which the car transfers weight.
