If anyone is interested, Dave at FCP Euro is able to put together a group buy for OEM Black Optic Grilles. These will be post-facelift only.
They are coming straight from an Audi Dealership.
They will come without front license plate holes punched.

Group Buy price:

$530 shipped anywhere in the US.

All he needs is at least 5 people to sign up for the group buy. So if anyone is ready, I will add you to the list.

Unfortunately, these are coming from an Audi dealership so they are a little more expensive to begin with and they do not have much of a discount margin.

Decent price? Have you checked how much they cost at the dealer?

Price wasnt the problem, I just convinced myself that i didnt need the BO theme....

genuineaudiparts.com charges about $45+ for shipping though. Around $520 shipped and I live about an hour north of San Diego.

I ended up getting one for $380 from ebay. Just had to keep an eye out until one finally popped up. I feel like this is the cheapest way, along with the classifieds here when someone wants to change over to the RS grille.

I heard dealership pricing was around $675-750 just for the grille

I'd also love to get one of these on a GB. Are there no decent quality aftermarket options? I'd also like the foglight grilles (aka "bumper grilles) to go along with it but they're [also] prohibitively expensive from Audi.

Has anyone had a GB on this stuff before? I've found a bunch of old threads but lots of the prices / pertinent info have been stripped or the users have inactive accounts.
