Problem is that there are alot more of PR-codes for your car than whats listed on the sticker.
Having them all is very useful when you want to use ETKA to find the correct part where there might be several different revisions or even colors etc.

How did OP gain access to such a database for all our cars?

There are online parts services that have all databases and that offer this mainly for garages or companys for a monthly fee, but they also had a 24h subscription for 10€ so thats what I had.

What is different with this rather than get the PR codes in ETKA? Maybe more usefull if you have an offline version aka pirated version of ETKA at home. If you have an A4 B6 or newer ETKA will only list parts that are on the actual car when using VIN, atleast if your ETKA is connected to the database. You'll get all the PR codes aswell in ETKA.

Didnt get a original manual and the sticker in the spare wheel well is half torn. One of the many stupid things PO did to the car.

Now is there any other way to get the PR code? Take the VIN to the dealer may be?

I guess this is no different at all if you can do FI-searches online on your ETKA..
I do have the offline version partly because its handy since I dont always will have a internet connection on my laptop (e.g in garage) and, correct me if Im wrong here because I've not really done much research on this subject, dont you need a license to connect to the online database which you cannot get unless you have a workshop/garage/dealership?

Yes, a dealer should have no problem printing out a list for you with PR-codes as long as they are in the mood.. I tried that with a local dealer here but they didnt want to help me, so I went this route instead and got several veichles in the family that I occassionally work on while I was at it

Yeah, the upkeep can be a pain sometimes but its as good as it gets if youre not as fortunate as you are
