    Hey Guys,

New here, but I've been lurking for a bit.

I've been searching for a used Audi S5 Cabrio for a bit now, and after driving nearly every configuration, I've finally narrowed it down to what I want in my car. It's gonna have a Sport Diff, Advanced Key, and likely be CPO. I'm pretty set on my color, and open to either Recaro or Comfort seats.

I wanted to quickly introduce myself, because as I've been lurking, I've been amazed at some of the aftermarket options available for these things and quite a few of you have jaw dropping rides. I'm excited to get my hands on one, and begin making some modifications, but I will likely be reaching out to a few of you with some questions.

Looking forward to getting to know you guys, and thanks in advance :)

I'd go for the Recaro seats myself. Gives the interior a more upscale/sporty look.

Mops is great for wheel advice if you are looking to swap out.

    Good luck with your search!

Welcome to the Forum....lots here and you will learn a lot! I went with the Blk Milano Leather / Heated & Cooled / Neck Heated (feels like a dog breathing down your neck) - seats being up here in the North East. I can squeeze a few more months out of my Cab. Option isn't cheap at $1,400 for the Soft Like Butter Milano Leather Seats but worth every penny. The sport seats are no cost option and they are NOT RECARO. I had those in my 2011 S4 and they were pretty hard in my option but looked cool with the Blk / Silver two tone. Good Luck!

Welcome, and good luck in your search. Winter seems to be the best time to buy a cabrio. It's when I bought mine. In live in Glenview and would be happy to share my knowledge learned here. We have a weekly Cars and Coffee group here in the north burbs too.

Welcome! I owned a '10 S5 Cab and an '11 S5 Cab, both of which were fantastic cars! I traded the '11 S5 for a sedan for more utility. Now I'm back to an S5 Coupe, which is a fantastic drive because it has a bit more structural rigidity than the Cab. With that said, I found the Cab offered more utility because it still had a decent-sized trunk and if you wanted to load 4 passengers in the car you could just put the top down, then put it back up. I even hauled furniture in my Cab. Probably the best thing about the S5 Cab is that you can better hear the great exhaust with the top down. It is a great car and I may consider it again when my lease is up. I would highly recommend it. It is a "dream" car!

I agree. Winter is a good time to buy your cabrio. I bought mine in the winter too and was able to get the dealer to come down significantly on their price in mid snowstorm.
    Good luck,with your search.
