TWM Shift knob

Just wanted to let any of you that might be on the fence about an aftermarket shift knob know that the JHM isn't the only option (I only say that because that's pretty much the only one I've seen installed in an RS4). TWM shift knobs come with the adapter to work with our threadless shifter, the adapter is TWM specific, and it's actually a super easy install. So any of you that were unaware and were wanting more options definitely need to check them out. Here's my competition series installed. It's made of delrin so it's less susceptible to heat and cold, plus it was the closest match to my old g37's nismo

Looks like less of a knob and more of a stick. Glad you're happy with it...aesthetically it is a big step backwards from OEM to me.

Not that I'm interested, but linking to this TWM might be helpful.

Yea, everyone will have their opinion. I personally DESPISE the look and feel of the OEM...

Haha, well I'm obviously being more condescending than you're giving me credit, but that was the initial premise of the thread: to inform a community about other options. Obviously this isn't the only style TWM offers, but it is a style of shift knob I have used multiple times over the past 10 years. It is what I prefer. Aesthetics really have nothing to do with it. But I do appreciate somebody not going out of their way to blatantly insult the way I prefer to drive my car. Thanks

TWM makes knobs that are different sizes and shapes as well. I have one of their round weighted knobs in my Pontiac. It's quite nice.

Well, it was either a dildo or a giant ball. Might as well be fully out of the shift knob closet rather than just half way.

To be fair, it would be a little undersized in the porn industry. Looks to me to be a 4"? I'd like to get my right hand on that and feel it out, if you know what I mean. The utility of it surpasses its elegance, I'm sure.

Well in his defense, he could either be watching some really terrible porn or porn including the use of undersized human beings. But yes, you hit 4" on the head, if you know what I mean, and it definitely works a lot better than it looks.....again, if you know what I mean

I know you can still use your 6th gear, but its like taking your RS badge off and putting a S badge on!
