    Knocking noise from front end

A little background the car is back on the road after a 2 year hiatus. I started hearing this knocking noise at low speed or letting off of the gas (it's not the engine). Anyone experience this before? Note: that shake at the end are my rotors which are getting replaced. Thanks in advance.

It sat on the tires. They were brand new prior to not driving it and I would occasionally move the car so that they wouldn't dry rot.

This is what was causing all of that noise. Now has anyone removed the axle without having to remove the pinch bolt?

The upper control arms pinch bolt? Dont need to take that off. From what ive read, once the axle is unbolted you jack up the knuckle and the axle can be wiggled out.

No need to remove pinch bolt

    -Jack up the front end
    -Remove wheel
    -Remove axle bolt
    -Remove flange bolts
-Turn wheel opposite direction of side (If driver side turn right)
-Jack up hub as high as you can
-Get on your back and slide out the axle

    Can be done in 30min

Remember it's safer to break loose the axle bolt and wheel bolts before you jack it up.

I know those are already out just trying to get the axle out without having to remove the pinch bolt.
