In my years at VT I'd frequent (because MKIV Jetta) the The Bug Shop on Harding. They've always been pretty honest, good guys and I never had any complaints about their quality of repairs. When you're out there if you haven't yet, treat yourself on a drive on Catawba Rd going towards the Homeplace. Best stretch of road I've ever driven on in VA, if not ever.

I agree with the Catawba Rd statement, and hey you can't beat Homeplace. There was another, closer road that I found when I used to deliver for Firehouse Pizza, but I can't remember its name for the life of me.

As for the oil change, join the Tech Car Club and do it yourself. Pleeeeeaaase don't use a crappy aftermarket filter on your B8, order some OEM filters online if you need to.
