I own and Audi again! Wheel questions

Guest-only advertisement. Register or Log In now!
I am pleased to say, I own an Audi again! After a hell of a lot of searching over the past few months, I found the (almost) prefect Audi for me...

I really wanted a 2014 Prestige Monsoon Gray with the black optics package, but this one was too good to resist. Since it is already modded up, the main thing I want is the Ti Rotor rims or whatever you call them. Where is the best place to get them other than OEM from the classifieds? Are the replicas any good? Looks like Actuning only has the Silver Hartmans right now...

Oh yeah - What are my peelers worth?

I also want to get the supercharged logos, Stealer or ebay??

Peelers go for about $800-1000 in good shape and I would get OEM badges the eBay ones never look quite right

I own and Audi again! Wheel questions

I would save your money and check out a website like this: http://www.allfactorywheels.com/prod...%22-58867.html

I used to use this site when a family member' sold CLS used to bend random rims. You will have to either send them your peelers plus the difference in cost. Still cheaper than 1 wheel at the dealer!

I bought my Supercharged badges from ECS since I was already buying a few things and didn't have to deal with a 10$ fee. The one thing I will say is that the provided template does NOT fit the square piece at the end. You will have to increase the size or just lightly attach it and then pull it off before it's fully stuck on.

Good tip, Thanks! I just ordered from ECS, I guess I will place another order... I really hate the V6T emblem, dunno why...

Well, it was a Dodge dealer. But there's never a reason to pay more for a modded car.

Did you take it for a test drive and be all, "Daaaaaamn!"? Hard to miss that hardware/software behind the wheel.

There is over $10k in mods, I would have paid more for this car without question.

I actually did not know for sure if its chipped and had a pulley, it is slower than the last three cars I owned including my B5 S4. Not to mention my Butt dyno is soooo bad.

Nice. You should of worked out a deal with an aftermarket warranty since you will be TD1'd. I would possibly look into one as a back up plan. Nice car and man you got the steal of a lifetime with all those mods. What a score. Im deff jelous.

Very true - HubCapHaven is another. I was just giving an example. If I were you I'd order them through a body-shop. They will stand behind the purchase as they order these exact wheels when fixing a car (that doesn't require NEW OEM).

OP - If you want Ti reps, check out Hartmann, the 19"'s are about $ 1400 for a set with caps. The offset is a little more aggressive than stock and the quality is excellent.

Another option if you want replica wheels are Alzor Wheels. With fitting Audi caps, you would not be able to tell the difference and the price is incredible for the quality you're getting. I am pretty sure they are of the same specification of quality as VMR wheels, or made in the same exact way (don't quote me on that though). Anyway, here's a link to the wheel selection (their title is Style 628). There are a bunch of different off set's and sizes (I would go with 18" or 19"). Seriously you cannot go wrong with these wheels, they provide the exact wheel you want for a fantastic price. You just need to figure out the measurement you want. I already have plugged in for that link the settings that will fit on a B8 S4. I highly recommend them, and if I could go back, I would have a new set of Alzor wheels on my car instead of the used O.Z. Ultraleggera's I have now
    http://www.ecstuning.com/Audi-B8_S4-.../Alzor_Wheels/

    Got this picture from google

ECS also has supercharged badges I believe, but eBay ones are just as good and may have more color options. If you're looking for other things like suspension, spacers, (some) exhaust options, black optics or RS4 grille, and many other goodies, I and much of Audizine can recommend ECS Tuning

My girlfriend personally runs Alzor Style 030 Wheels on her 2004 (E46) BMW 325Ci, they are great quality wheels and a ton of people run Alzor's in the B7 section as well. There's no reason to rule this brand out. Also ECS Tuning offers a warranty policy because Alzor is their brand

In regards to reps of OEM, the concavity of the wheels are not there compared to OEM from the pictures I've seen.

Sure there is, because no one in their right mind would sell a modded car (especially with $10k of mods) for the same price as a stock one. Not every buyer will care about the mods, but then not every buyer wants an Audi either, should the car be free too? LOL

OP, that is CRAZY that you got that car for stock price. I bet you were just dancing about trying to sign the papers and get out of there as fast as possible LOL

    Well done, nice car.

And yeah, I just sold my peelers (brand new with 600 miles on them) for $1000, so depends on the shape yours are in.

Mods adding value to a car is a fantasy. A clean stock car with warranty will sell for the same price or more than a modded TD1 ride with equal mileage.

I could not disagree more. I think that you never get all of it back, prolly not even half but how could the car not be worth more to a person that wants mods? I think people only sell it for the same or less because they don't wait for a mod friendly buyer.

This car was about the same cost as an identical stock one that I found 1000 miles away. As far as I am concerned, I would have at least done a chip, pulley and exhaust. IMHO I saved $4000. The coldfront and the alcons were just icing on the cake!

Oh yeah - my car has a warranty and is not TD1... I checked that first.

I kept trying to negotiate down and they held their ground - they called my bluff time and time again. I not only I didn't get a discount, I had to pay some of their BS fees. As far as I am concerned, I saved an ass load of cash and I am very very happy

If you'd like some supercharged badges, I still have the CF ones that came with the alu optic kit I ordered for our car. Our car is Monsoon Gray and I personally like the splash of red that the standard badges provide so I never installed the CF ones.

So sowwy you got bent over so badly, RAD69. A few days sitting on a cold compress should nurse that balloon-knot back to health. Of course, that would be a few days with a cold compress on the drivers Recaro, while you flog PO's $10k of just-barely-broken-in goodies! SCORE!

Value is subjective; in the eye (and wallet) of they buyer. No one else can say what a modified used car is worth. Less than book to some, and certainly more than book to others.
