    I just purchased a 2002 b6 1.8t. The car has 190,000 miles on it. I bought it for $2000 and I am going to be replacing the timing belt/water pump/crank seals/valve cover gasket/ tensioner/roller/coolant flange/ oil change.

    My question:
Should I go ahead and replace the head gasket while im in there?

This is my first audi, and first timing belt/ possible head gasket I have ever done.

Any advice is appreciated! Thank you

Unless your experiencing problems I wouldn't change it.

I basically did what you wanted to do a few months ago after I bought mine. Scan with VAG-COM and include those issues presented (if any) in your list. I kept track of what I replaced in an Excel sheet and, man, it was a lot of work and parts lol. Surprisingly, It was much easier to work on than my turbo Honda Civic because of front lock carrier removal on the Audi. Once you're in there doing your thing, pay close attention to hoses (water and vacuum) because chances are, something is broken as was mine. I probably replaced 4 hoses due to the ends being broken. Just give the hose a good jiggle to make sure they're snug and aren't going to break.
