Hey all! I've bought a used '05 A6 3.2 Quattro with a CEL that gives up P0346, A. Circuit, Range/Performance (bank 2) with a generic scanner. Is there a way to know exactly which sensor to replace, or is that telling me which to replace and I'm not figuring it out, or do I need a better scan tool? Thanks in advance.

Most likely its the timing chain tensioner, not the sensor

I've read a little about that and found a great write-up on here. I have no dieseling sounds, but I have noticed a shudder during mild acceleration, and my tach needle goes up and down a little in the 40-55 mph speed range.
