So I have a gold 1.8 B6 with the tan interior

but i use to have an awesome grey one with the black interior which i had to sell a few years ago. so i kinda want a dark colored black interior one again. i was looking at different tunes and then it hit. that goldy locks a4 would be such a sleeper if I tuned the hell out of it!!!! I consider it the blandest looking b6. So what do yall think? should I make goldy locks an ultimate sleeper? It would save me the hassle of constantly searching for the badass paint and interior scheme I desire and having to fix the possible issues of another persons car. I think I'm gonna make good ol goldy locks a sleeper. Anybody else on here have or know someone with a sleeper goldy locks?

Shit like this makes me want to delete my account. I was much happier knowing that the B6 was a great car that I love to drive and thought people did tasteful mods. Yet it seems these clowns come and try to make them Jap Tuners and fucking bro stanced shit boxes.

Its like having a nice house and then they zone your area for HUD and the assholes start moving in next to you. Your house prices just keep dropping and dropping. This is whats happening to the B6.

Relax man, this shit happens in the B8 forum too. If some kid wants to put some ricer stuff on his car then so be it, it doesn't affect you in any way. Just build your car and have fun with it.

how do you plan on tuning the hell out it? buying an off the shelf tune most people have? My B6 is tuned and somewhat upgraded and I wouldn't consider it fast. Vinyl wrap it? it's going to be pricey going for looks or speed with what your starting with. buy a new car? B6's are getting cheap. Even so called "unicorns" can be had for cheap on Autotrader. Good luck.

I was going the motoza route. What tune did you get? I'm tired of my daily being lame. Has anybody put a tune on a gold/beige A4? It's like the most generic B6 out there. I'll have something somewhat unique I guess. I think all the negative feedback on this thread is hilarious. It's funny that if they found this thread meaningless to them that they would take the time to say something rather shitty. I was expecting some joking around with this like the Trinidad James video which had me laughing my ass off. Either way at least you put your 2 cents in in a way that an audizine thread should be replied to. And yea I call her goldy locks because it's my lil gold B6. As far as my plan: I intend to keep adding on to it every month. First i am doing the silicone TIP and TB boot with either APR Diverter or the 710N. Then buying the motoza stage 1. I also intend to get the R8 coils and bigger gap spark plugs. Then injectors: I've read up on the siemens 380cc and the 225 tt ones. I'm probably going to go 225tt but if someone has a different opinion let me know. Of course I will upgrade the tune when i do this. I've read amazing things about Dave at Motoza and how he can dial in a tune that's right for my car. Then down the line I'll be looking at DP and exhaust, turbo, head bolts for that upgrade so on and so forth. i was meaning to be slightly satirical only because i find that my gold B6 is as generic as it comes in terms of a B6. I got a great deal on it at 112K miles with timing and clutch being done at 90k. They also did a dual mass flywheel which is a plus. I got the deal because the rear coolant flange took a shit. $40 for the OEM flange and 4 hours of my time (a real pain in the ass job to do) and I got a good running B6. I travel on windy hilly country roads to work and a nice tune would make that trip sooooooo much better.

I think the part most people are having a hard time believing, is the B6+Sleeper combination. A 1+ tune does a lot, but it's still not fast.

All in good time. I gotta save some big money for the Ko4 and exhaust. it doesn't hurt to start somewhere. I just find pleasure out of upgrading my car. I love working on it and fixing problems. If I had a perfect car, all stock, I would be bored. It's a hobby that I enjoy and a tune would better than stock. I love going to the salvage yard and pulling from other cars. The sleeper part is the satire on this thread because the gold/beige combo just doesn't have "speed demon" written on it in any way, shape, or form.

Its not gonna be a "sleeper" without some serious work and what I don't get is that your making a big deal on this "gold" thing an a4 is an a4 the only people that think color makes a difference belong on honda forums its not unique until its custom tuned with a custom bt otherwise its just the same as most on here, don't get me wrong a tune will wake it up but you won't be walking most other turbo cars out there.

I'm aware of this. I was being satirical. But maybe one day I'll get a big ass garrett on it. I usually see people do mods to the black, grey or white painted cars (maybe red too) with the black interior.

Sleeper Yo! lol, I've got plenty of friends with vag, I was going to rely on the motoza software for my code pulling and read outs. I was thinking about buying the ecs vent guage at some point. But yea audi's are great for hobby mechanics lol. I'm hailing from Texas too!!!!!

A ko4 with all the supporting mods the car will still be slow. If you want to be quick put a 2.7t in it.
