Radio presets on startup

Is there a way to have the car default to the presets on the radio on startup instead of defaulting to the regular radio or "Dynamic" stations? VAGCOM?

Nope. Sadly there is not. Many have asked, none have found what you seek.
Seems to be a big oversight on Audi's part that you can't pick a favorite screen to have it go to when you first start the car.

Um, my 2015 starts on the Presets 'channels' when I start the car. Unfortunately it doesn't have the proper station highlighted, but at least it's the Presets group.

I meant to add: I'm basically always in Radio (Presets) mode while driving, never Navigation/Phone/Media, and always shut down with it in Presets mode. I have noticed however, the car will always start in exactly the same screen that I left it. Maybe a software update that's in the 2015??

Same here, my 2015 will start wherever I left off.

Not only that but when set to presets I don't get any song titles! My Wifes 7 year old Saab gives me that info.

Yup, if I shut my 2015 S4 off on the presets screen, that is where it starts up.

It will also show all the same info on the presets screen as it does on any other.

Best surprise of upgrading from 2010 to 2015 was defaulting to previous settings! Not just presets but also for Sport Diff settings and Seat Heater. Benefits of buying a late cycle car I guess.

Wow, I had no idea the prior years MMIs didn't do that (same with heated seats, I suppose). I would have yelled and thrown things had it not resumed from previous state. The one thing that does kill me is the whole "twist the knob the wrong way to go down the list". It's possible they won't fix it due to patents though, as it's ostensibly the original iPod clickwheel.
