Seems highly unlikely side bolsters would be adjustable on an A4 S-Line but not an S4. Also seems like it would be an expensive proposition to replace S4 seats with A7 seats, presuming they fit.

I had a '14 A4 S-Line and my side bolsters were NOT adjustable, however they looked a little different than the photo (mine weren't perforated). They were very comfy, very similar to the S4 seats.

I have a '15 A4 S-line service loaner right now, and the seats are as flat as a park bench. Definitely not the same seats as in the pics above.

Yeah, it says S-line on the fender and door sills. Notice the seats don't have S-line embossing at the top.

those seats are comfort seats. The "sline" can also be an exterior package only, which in this case is what he has

That has s-line exterior package but lacks the s-line interior.

That has the standard a4 seats.

The S4 seats may have a cock hair more bolsters than s-line, but nothing I noticed when going from a4 to s4.

I never lean my head back while driving, so that doesn't really appeal to me.

I don't think those seats are going to be more comfortable. What about the current seats is uncomfortable to you?

All I know is that the seats are horrible, the engine sounds horrible and I can't wait to get my S back.

the side bolster just to tight during long drive, cant really lean back and drive because their is not really a head rest lol. i had a a7 loaner today i think it had the sport seats really comfortable. Of course the s4 seats looks better.
i was wondering are the sline side bolster are more wider than the s4

I think they are the same, base a4 seats would be your best bet, but I think they look terrible, and would look very out of place in the s4.

Maybe no one has tried this, but would the A4 driver's seat be "plug and play" in the S4? That is, for the same MY, the S4 wiring harness plugs into the A4 connectors with no fault codes, etc.? And the seat bolt holes line up exactly?

yes - depending on trim level of seat.

people swap seats all the time in the a4 section, with s4 seats.

I even know a guy who put s5 seats in his r8 (surprisingly enough, the r8 seats are less aggressive)

I love my S4 seats. I took an 7 hour drive in them and they are very comfortable. im 5'10'' 185lbs. I don't have any issues with the s4 seats. I like them better than my B7 S4 seats. I wish I could have the RS4 euro seats in my S4. Those would be so much better.

I would not complain about our seats. They cost you additional 710 Euros in Germany.

Since European S4 comes with different seat configurations and standard European seats look like S-line seats , then most likely Audi uses the same or very similar hardware. Just guessing. I may be wrong.

6'5" 185 lbs here. I find the bolsters to be a bit too wide and wish they had more support up higher. If anyone sat in the B6/B7 S/RS4 Recaros, their bolsters are slightly narrower and more supportive.

well hell since your a bean pole No offense. You need side bolsters that are adjustable to come in more to you. Or if they were bigger that would be great for you.

They can't design a seat for everyone. Not all people will be happy. I love the seats. Just wish that the RS4 euro seats were an option for the S4 seats

Just came out of a B7 S4 and loved those seats but the B8 seats are much more supportive IMHO. Probably some of the best seats I have sat in. I am also a smaller build guy though.

The seats in the OP are the Sport interior seats. They have nothing to do with S-line trim. I have them in my allroad.

they are the same thing, but with the head rest

They may be a little less firm, but that's probably only my memory from a car with 50k miles, to a brand new car..

    My s4 seats:

    My a4 sport seats:

The s4 seats look like they have a cockhair more bolstering, but if you are fairly uncomfortable, the difference is negligible (if there is a difference)

and again, the s-line and sports seats are the same (and probably the s4 seats too, other than the integrated head rest)

(also the a4 seats probably have like 35k in that picture, while the s4 seats have ~5k)

I has sport seats in my 2011 A4 and went straight to the S4 seats in my 2015.
Aside from the integrated headrest, which I don't actually rest my head, ever, there is no discernible difference between them to me whatsoever in comfort or operation.
I don't know if that helps or not.
