    Windshield Wipers - Any recommendations

I have a 2013 S6 with 26k miles. I recently bought it used and the wipers have a little degradation in them, as is expected of any car that has spent it's life in Central Texas. I've been spoiled with our Volvo and several past BMWs where wipers are replaced for free as part of the included maintenance packages.

I should also add that I'm extremely fanatical about having no streaks in my wipers. The 5/15/25K mile service records I got from the Audi dealer do not indicate the past owner had the wipers done at the dealer, but that's not to say he didn't have them done elsewhere or by himself, but I'm assuming he did not. The wipers are still in great condition by a non-fanatics consideration, but I'd like to swap them out.

On my B8 S4, I had incredible success with the forum favorite Valeo Ultimate wipers. From Amazon the set goes for about $45, but before I pull the trigger, I was wondering if the S6 crowd had any specific experience. Throughout the years I always felt OEM wipers to be the best, but after some Audiziner's got me to try the Valeo Ultimates, I've changed my tune. On past cars I ran Bosch Icons, I would basically only get 1 season out of them, but the Valeo's gave me 2+ seasons on my S4 (and that's 2+ seasons of perfect like brand new treatment. The minute they streak or sponge even the littlest bit, I get upset).

It seems these would be the blades for the S6:

I bought a set of OEM for my 2013 S7 from ECS tuning. Takes 2 minutes per side to swap. I opted for OEM because the connector looks nicer on the OEM then most aftermarket that I see. $59 shipped for the set

I have also opted for OEM

Interested in keeping an eye on this thread. I'm about to swap out mine as well and had planned to make the move to Valeo since I loved them on my old car.

I got myself the Trico Force blades. Ill be honest I've been a bosch guy for close to a decade. These Tricos, for me anyways, are working much better than OEM or the bosch icons.

Thanks, the Valeo connector snaps in and it seems to look quite similar to OEM blades. I noticed ECS Tuning carries the Valeo's for $28.95 per set, I can't tell if it's the Ultimate or not. They're 1-2 months backordered which is the same as Amazon right now. I believe I also read that Valeo makes the OEM blades anyways.

Thanks, I used to run Icons on my older cars that didn't get free wiper exchanges (i.e. Toyota Sequoia, Nissan Z, etc.). They're great when new, but I found they didn't hold up anywhere near as long as the Valeo Ultimates did. I'll check out the Tricos as well (the limited reviews on Amazon aren't so hot though). Thanks for your input.

I got the oem ones. Honestly the oem pair is not that great. I wish we had more options.

With only 11,400 miles mine are streaking. I'm looking at getting replacements myself, not sure what to try.

I might be the guinea pig and try the Valeo Ultimates. They were great on my B8 S4. I'll probably place the order with Amazon and hope the 1-2 month backorder gets reeled in.

There's a seller that has them in stock right now, you just have to pay shipping.

I have also purchased these Trico Force and agree that they are excellent.

Anyone tried the PIAA Silicone Blades? A couple of Amazon reviewers have said they fit great.

I just want to know if they lift up on the passenger side or not. Who has experience with these?
