last year for the S4 avant to date?

Over the past 2 years owning my Audi (2008 a4 Sline sedan) I have decided that the next car I get will be the S4 wagon...I love my car but the avant has spoken to me since I first laid eyes on the S4 avant from the movie layer cake years back....

Does anyone know what year they last made them?

Within the next 2 years I will own one.

2008 on this side of the pond.

Same year for the last 6MT Avant here.

Layer cake is what opened my eyes to the avant world as well. I'm glad I'm not the only one. There was an rs6 avant for sale on eBay a year or so ago. Supposedly it was imported by Paul walker.

But yes unfortunately 08 was the last year of the North American s4 avants.

that rs6 avant was sold to another owner in the westchester area i think. I saw it at limerock park last summer. and I just couldn't handle it. i must have it. It's actually included under the "substantially similar" rule for importation that the b5 rs4 avant is under. basically just requires a few minor cosmetic changes like amber indicators and a MPH dash and you can bring it into the country and pass emissions

08 S4 avant it is! I dont think I can afford the RS4 though if I can I will! This just does it for me...

I would suggest researching timing-chain issues starting right meow so you can make an educated purchase within your 2 year timeline...

That's what I did, was going to trade my other car in on a 05 s4 avant, then decided against it. Did just find a 12 cc r line in great shape im considering. Out with the mitsubishi, in with more vw

Yep I am aware of those issues... If I end up with the B7 S4 avant I will plan on doing the chain, guides ect unless they have already been done.....I would do the work myself.

done quite a bit of research on it actually and depending on how much all the work a used b7 s4 avant would cost I may just get a newer allroad....those are also quite nice. but not as timeless as the older wagons. yet.
