Parts needed to completely rebuild ac system?

I have a 2006 Audi A4 2.0t and i recently was told last year by the dealer that the compressor completely got destroyed and there was metal shavings inside the line and it needed a new compressor and condenser....i was just wondering what i would need and if there is a good cheap website where i could buy the parts from. thanks!

Mite not need a condenser unless its got a hole in it. If they was changing it because they say it had shavings in it. You can flush the condenser out and reuse. But I would a new reciever drier

Probably that's all you'd have to buy. Just flush the entire system out before you install the new parts, so the lines will be clear. Hope you don't have any black death in your system.

Get used parts from www.carpart.com --- save big $$$. You'll likely get rid of your car before used parts wear out.
