vagcom headlight question

So I first edited my headlights to the euro spec, with the orange markers only coming on via the turn signals. Well I read somewhere that if you code it to the Canada spec the fog lights would be on along with the headlights. So I did this, turns out the fog lights only turn on when the headlights are off. They do not turn on with the headlights. So basically the fogs act as the daytime running lights.

My question is if there is any way to make it so the fogs are on with the heads all the time? Or am I missing something from the other threads?

Seems now with the Canada code my orange lights turn on all the time and the fogs only turn on if the car is not fully on with the headlights.

Can't you just pull your headlight knob out one click for fogs? Pretty sure that's possible without vag

Yeah that works just fine but I would love to have it just do it in the auto mode if possible. Mainly for looks but also because I drive down a ton of country roads which late at night have mist/foggy conditions and it would be helpful not to have to manually do it each time. I can just move it manually but if it can work auto that would be awesome.
