2012 Audi S4 - Premium Plus - 12k miles - 6MT - Rebuilt Title
Hey all.
Up for sale is my 2012 Audi S4. It was purchased on Ebay back in Feb of 2013, as a flood damage/salvage title car. The car was originally a "Superstorm Sandy" car, where it got... well, wet, and was salvage titled. It was then auctioned off, ended up on Ebay, and purchased by me.
The car's electrical system was obviously damaged; both front seats were damaged (ie, electrical motors not working). Both front seats were changed. Radio amps were shot. MMI was shorted out, but not broken (thankfully). Extensive electrical re-wiring was done by a local performance shop, given the damage to harnesses and such. The car was "finished" about 3 months ago (from an electrical perspective), and I have been driving it ever since (I drove it extensively without the MMI working; that was enjoyable). The radio had to be reflashed at Audi to work; MMI/radio is fully functional now.
Right now, from a "what doesn't work anymore" perspective, only the following have issues:
1) Sunroof is stuck closed; it "clicks", but doesn't move. For all I know it's simply stuck and needs a good smack, but I've just kept it closed.
2) There's a scratch on the front right plastic bumper cover, where it bumped into a fence. I blame the fence.
3) The key system requires the key to physically be in the slot to start; guessing a module that detects key presence is busted, but it's never been an issue to me.
