Very nice...both cars. We have a 9-3 SportCombi right now (purchased after I started admiring avants) but always wished it was a V70R instead. As I posted on another thread, anxious to see what the V90 shooting brake and up looking like.

Curious about pros and cons from old to new for you.

I love the Whispbars too but for the 2-3X a year I put the godawful box on my car, it's really not worth it.

As for pros and cons of the A4 vs the VR - I'd say the A4 with the low end torque and mods are great with city driving and maneuvering - the VR and it's turn radius and weight were terrible. High end power is missing in the tiny inline 4, even with the extra 50hp+, the I6 in the VR was smoother but took quite a bit longer to get up to speed (the 1,000lb weight difference probably helps the A4), or at least it felt that way. While I prefer the A4's interior, I think the bucket seats in the VR were better - softer too. But all in all, I like the Audi better - it's newer, cleaner and quicker. Now for the Avic nav system I'm getting installed...

Nice pickup. Maybe I'll see you around town.
