Im guessing the transmission is shot on my 1.8T a4 But i thought ide post to see if there is anything that can be done about it, The transmission goes in neutral 1st and reverse, but when i parked it, it had every gear, it had a small leak of transmission fluid but i refilled the fluid, and fixed the leak. my mechanic said that the transmission *Went bad from sitting* and i dont think thats the case because it only set from december 11th to january 15th, can the transmission go bad from sitting? just let me know.

What does the indicator in the dash display? Could be a MFS issue, TCU problem or limp mode.
