Ac woes assist please problem solved

hello tuners recently my ac stopped working about 2 weeks after i had the system vacumed and regassed the low side was filled with 40psi and the high side was filled with 145psi r134a gas the front of the car was off overnight to fix a radiator problem anyways everythng was working as it should when suddenly the ac stopped blowing cold air.

I scanned with my vag com and got the basic codes for the flaps nothing hard core as the n280 valve etc did some logging as well here is what it shows when the ac is runnning please note its blowing hot air when his data was being taken.

    measuring blocks group 1
    a/c valve n280 current 0.648 A
    a/c valve n280 duty cycle 63.2%
    high pressure signal g65 26.0%
    refrigerant circuit pressure 7.0bar

    group2
    current criteria 0.0
    last criteria 3.0
    last but one criteria 12.0
    last but two criteria 0.0

i checked the high and low sides with a gauge today but since the compressor doesnt engage i didt get a reading my econ button goes on and off and fans spin up when i push the ac buttonis is there a relay that i can check? also i checked the fuses and they were good to go

when i changed the internal temperature the duty cycle and current would change but slightly also the circuit pressure would go up to 8bars is that normal?
also if i put in around 145psi on the high side now the circuit is saying 8bars isnt that like 114psi? would that indicate a low refrigerant level causing my compressor not to engage

    thanks for the help guys.

No offence but it was 4 deg F when I left for work this morning so I don't have much sympathy for ac problems at the moment :)

It's possible that the system is overcharged, which will also have the same affect as being under charged, the pump will be shut off. Do you know how much R-134a and PAG oil was used when it was refilled?

ok no oil was used as the system was only down overnight and the front was in service mode also as stated in the post the low side had about 40psi and the high side had 145psi if it was overcharged would it not show a code or even not work for the 2 weeks and then just shut off like that really stummped here thanks

That is the pressure of the system, what is the weight of the refrigerant that was put into the system? The system can be easily overcharged, even if the pressures look ok. Also, you need to know the outside air temperature to determine if the pressure(s) are acceptable. This thread has some good info about the total system charge as well as measuring blocks to determine what is causing the system to shut down.

solved the problem it was a dead compressor the ac was overfilled i belived and damaged the plate inside the oil was black and the pressure on the high side was reading 250psi so anyone with this problem get a vaggy gauge setup and a multimeter and after all toubleshooting fails just drain the gas and check the compressor oil at the fittings easiest for you to access i used the ones at the bottom anyone needing info on how to troubleshoot can contact me thanks for the help btw. take care.
