Another CAM follower warranty job done

Two weeks ago JT helped me inspect the cam follower on my wifes 2007 B7 with 108k and the cam follower was completely done.

Called the dealer and told them it was throwing codes and I wanted a diagnostic - so yesterday they called and advised us that the car was done and the following was changed on warranty.

Fuel pump
Camshaft
Cam follower

All on warranty. Happy wife. Happy Life.

Just had this done on my 08 but they replaced entire engine, water pump, timing belt, fuel pump, camshaft, follower, and other little things as well. All under "good will"... We must be getting lucky with our dealerships :)

Agreed, dealerships play a huge part in this process. Glad the folks at Rector Audi treat me well. I will most likely purchase my next Audi from them, once a new Avant 6spd becomes available ;)
