Jay Brunberg is a straight up, honest, and awesome guy, I can personally vouch for him, known him for a long time. He's a good friend and has been in the scene for literally decades. After many years in the VW/Audi service industry he decided to start up his own company. German OEM doesn't have a store front, they're an online store, similar to ECS Tuning. (they support the local shows (VAGKraft included) and show up with a booth filled with a lot of great parts) His product range is growing so if you don't see what you need online send him an email with your request and chances are he'll be able to get it for you. I've personally given him a lot of business, as in thousands of dollars for parts that I needed and he's always come through with flying colours. You'll find they get back to you quickly and prices are very fair. Give them a try, you won't be disappointed.
Oh wow. What he said.
Thanks for the praise, Claudio and everyone else! I'm getting all blushy and stuff. :)
The point of starting German OEM was to bring quality parts and reasonable prices to the end user like the big US players do. So far, it seems to be working. The website has 470 parts listings on it right now, and it's growing every day. Like Claudio said, if you don't see what you're looking for, email me at
[email protected] for pricing and availability. At the very least, you will have a point of reference to compare the prices you're getting from elsewhere.
@Ducati: I have access to Mercedes parts, but I don't specialize in them. As a result, the savings may not be as deep as with the VW/Audi stuff, but I expect that they'll at least be very reasonable as compared to dealer pricing.
The same goes for any other European and Asian brands. Email me your requests, and I'll do my best to help you out.
@Cottonmouth: I remember meeting you that day. That was the first time I had heard of the S4 25quattro. All of the differences from the regular S4 were so inconspicuous, but once you noticed them, they really stuck out.
